Hi all,

i've installed the links2.0 scripts on e new server (it was first installed on Virtualave.net)
all seems to work but when i go to the links administration pages and i click on "build all"
i get this error message:

CGI ERROR

Error Message : unable to open temp links database: /export/web33/alpha/mylogin/cgi-bin/admin/data/links.db.bak. Reason: Permission denied
Script Location : /export/web33/alpha/mylogin/cgi-bin/admin/nph-build.cgi
Perl Version : 5.00503

what does this mean? what should i do?

As discussed before in this forum (and other Links forums)....you need to do the following:

1) Upload the links.db.bak file to your /data/ directory. Change the permission of this file to 666 (rw-rw-rw-).

2) Then make sure that you have changed the permission of your /data/ directory to 777 (drwxrwxrwx).
