just found Links 2.0, great Script. Got it working finally after all the CHMOD stuff but i still have problems...

I created a category and added some files. Everything is listed as i want it but if i click onto a File that links for example to:

http://www.mysite.com/cgi-bin/jump.cgi?ID=6

i get the message "Error: Can't find link id: 6"

What did i do wrong ?

Also i was reading about a SQL Version of Links 2.0. Is this also free available for private use ? If so, where can i get it ?

Check url.db and see if you have an entry for that record.

As for SQL version of Links 2.0...

There was once a flat file/SQL hybrid program which you could download seperately from GT, but it has since been removed due to the release of the fully SQL versions (known as Links SQL 1.x/2.x, and Gossamer Links 3.x) and costs around $450. The SQL script that was available, IIRC, was only used as a replacement search engine.
