When somebody adds a new link to a category, I receive an e-mail through to notify me that there's a new link to be validated in the admin.cgi (no problem there!). But the when I go into the admin.cgi and validate the link, the link gets added to the category without any problems, but the person who submitted the link in the first place doesn't receive an e-mail to say that they're link has been validated. I've tried it out myself by using my own e-mail address, just in case people were submitting invalid e-mail addresses, and still I don't receive an e-mail through to say that the link I've added has been validated. I thought perhaps it's something to do with the sendmail program, but if I'm receiving an e-mail through to say a link has been submitted then it can't be that.

Has anybody got any ideas?

Do you have $db_email_add = 1; in links.cfg?

Mine is doing the same thing. I have links.cfg set to $db_email_add = 1, but it still doesn't mail out.

Any other ideas?

Sorry, I set links.cfg $db_email_add = 1 and mine works fine now.
