Edited Template submission error

Edited Template submission error
When I click "Save Template" after editing it in the form, the following results:

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.


I have checked the server log and see nothing unusual. Any ideas why this is happening?

First of all...what server type are you using? UNIX or Windoz??? You posted the same Thread in both forums...please stick to one forum based on your OS.

I did post to the Windows forum mistakenly and sent another message explaining that.

My server is Unix/Apache 1.39

Okay...check the following:

1) Make sure that all your template files are set to read/write (666 - rw-rw-rw-) in your template directory.

2) Make sure that you click on the button and not simply hit your enter key.

i have the same problem,
all files in template directory is 666
but i'm getting an error
(the same error i'm getting trying to validate links)

Thank you. That worked. I guess that I assumed that the installation would give them the correct permissions. Now, if I can only get verify to work on the Windows platform. Back to the Windows Forum!
