I need to know the exact names of the directories and places the directories would be placed on a server? I would also like to know what files go in which of those directories?

Unless you've screwed up when unzipping the file, Links 2.01 comes with the correct file/folder structure already. There is an FAQ in the 'Resources' directory that contains the complete file/folder structure as well as CHMOD settings. Look for 'Where does this file go?..."
NOTE: The FAQ was for Links 2.0 -> 2.0b5 so don't get excited when you can't find a few files/folders (LWP, for example) in your extracted zip file.
