I have been using Links v2.0 for several years on a not-for-profit site that I maintain, www.tevye.net/links. All of a sudden I can't build from the administration menu.

There was a change to my server recently, the OS went from Linux 6.1 to 7.0, but I checked the path to root and it is the same. All so, the other functions in the admin menu work.

The file, nph-build.cgi, is in place chmod 755,

any ideas about how to fix this?


Staggered build fails to work as well.

are you sure the other nph-* named files work? Is there a specific error the server is returning when you run nph-build.cgi?

I am not sure if other nph- files are working, I don't use the email function in Links.

the errror log gives me: "exec of /www/cgi-bin/links/admin/nph-build.cgi failed"

Got it fixed, the new OS, didn't like the path to Perl,
