I had config, install and chmodd all the file that came with the Links2 zip file, but when I try to load the add.cgi, admin.cgi or any .cgi file it won't load up. I try and wait 5 minute, 40 minute ..., still can't load and any other file does load.

When I tried to run your admin.cgi script, I got this error message:


That means either the admin.cgi or one of the scripts it calls was not uploaded in ASCII. Everything in Links, except the background.gif file, must be uploaded in ASCII, not binary, mode.

Thank Bobsie. I use auto mode when uploaded the file, did change it to ascii and now it work.
