Hi all, its stupid old me again, Ok heres my new other problem, when I was browsing through links 2.0 or setting it up, I came across the option too adjust the values on the Add category page in the admin.
It was like:- setting the name and url lengths etc etc. Or setting the description length.

I have searched through all the scripts, either I am being stupid(prob... this one) or I am 100% blind (maybe this one) but the first one seems better, can anyone out first of all understand what I am asking and put me out of my misery if not point me in the right direction of a shot gun, because I am a total CGI baffoon and I wish I started on an easier script that this one, but now I have my feet well and truely stuck into it, I want too see if through too the end.

Please Help me, 3.5 days now I have been at this script trying too get it look alright, just finding problem after problem, I am so close too getting someone too customize this thing for me if any of you are interested.

Also whilst I am here, can you set up your main page category by date added instead of alphabetically if this has already been asked - you have my permission too slate me or shoot me.

Okay going from left to right:

Field name
Field number
Field type
Field size (ie. form box size)
Max field length
Required 1=yes, 0=no
Default value
Field format (ie. .+@.+\..+ for email)


Edit links.def for the links.db and category.def for the categories.db

Hi again, Back too your website, I am not telling you how too program as you have already proven your worthiness, but would your site not be better with demos or examples of your mods so that we know exactly what we will be adding before we conjure up the modifications.

I guess it would take a lot of time and resources but for someone like me with very little experience I would like too see what I am doing first before I try it.

Sorry too bitch its only a thought, I will stwo my tits if you take any offence as you have done a lot for me and many others on this forum.
