Admin.cgi problem?

Admin.cgi problem?
I am very new to cgi. I just figured out how to set my permissions so bare with me. I have uploaded everything and the readme file says go to admin.cgi file. I do and it says

Error including libraries: (Maybe you didn't strip carriage returns after a network transfer?)

Make sure they exist, permissions are set properly, and paths are set correctly.

What in the world does this mean? Could someone please explain to me what I am doing wrong.

Thank you,

It means that you did not upload the files in ASCII mode as discussed a number of times in this particular forum.

If you search for strip carriage in this forum, Links 2.0 Installation -- Unix or click on the following search link:

strip carriage

You will find other Threads where this has been discussed before.
