Links 2.0 was just installed on my server. Everything seems to work fine, besides that I can't execute the nph-verify and nph-built.cgi files. I receive an 500 error and I cannot figure out why. CHMOD settings should be correct, as well as the paths. The server-side error text reads like this: Error 500, system-bin/cgiexe host:turteshop.de
jeff,
other files: add.cgi, search.cgi, etc. are working ?

Thanx, Nicky, for your reply. Since I notice that you are German as well, I posted an answer to your counter-question in the German forum.
For others who would like to help me:
Yes, all other cgis seem to be working propperly. I can handle the links and catergory-sections in the admin-area without any problem. The 500 occurs only when I try to run "Build", "Staggered" and "Verifying Links" options.

It seems that your servers do not allow nph files to execute, right?

I am having the same problem. It seems to be a Cobalt issue with regards to their using cgiwrap with nph scripts. There are other posts which suggests solutions. Nothing has worked for me yet.
I am using Link Sql 1.1
I'll let you know if i get it to work.
