Can anyone tell me to begin a telnet session? I have really no idea how to contact my cgi-bin with telnet.
Is my ftp same as host name?

This should be posted in the Perl/CGI Forum. This has nothing to really do with Links 2.0.

I would recommend searching the NET for telnet or shell tutorials.

Also, your host should have instructions for accessing your shell account via telnet. But I ran a quick test and it looks like your hosting company does not offer shell access, unless they have a separate sub-domain established or they only allow SSH access...

This is really a basic concept.
