wrong links

wrong links
Tell me what I'm doing wrong:

the link 'home' in the administration menu links to the 'pages'-directory, not to /pages/index.
when I try to follow the link to my index.htm (after building pages) I get an "internal server error", when I type index, without htm, (in IE) I get the 'home'-page.
But when I try building pages without the htm-extension I cannot get access to the pages.
The links to New, Cool etc. are linking to the directories instead of to the index-pages.

yeah because if your host has the DirectoryIndex directive setup properly then going to http://domain.com/pages/ should automatically pull up the index file.

It also sounds like you have built your pages in your cgi-bin
