I have links since 1 year on my site on virtualave.net but since 1 month it's not possible to use all cgi files i don't know why? Have you the same problem?
and do you know free hosting with cgi ?

Most likely they have denied executable access to these files based on excessive CPU usage. Free and paid hosts have been discussed QUITE a few times in the Links 2.0 support forums...search for "host".
