Change its permissions to the following:

Owner: Read, Write
Everyone: Read, Write
Groups: Read, Write

Use FTP to change the permission of this file.

thats not it the file isnt there at all. what info is in the file is what i need to know.

Well, then save a blank file entitled "validate.db", upload to that directory where it cannot be found, and then change its permission to what I indicated before.
