This may seam like a strange post but basicaly i was wondering if anyone would be interested in trading links.db files. It would involve a lot of re-numbering and changing in ms word and or excel but could be worth it to increase db sizes. i am talking about just a small section of about 300 or so links. if you would like to give it a go mail me. All sites in my db are family friendly and fairly good sites.

This has been requested before and basically the result of the Thread was negative...and for good reason...what you are asking is a bit much and infringes on intellectual property of other Links users.

But if someone comes forth and agrees to your request, then I guess that is their decision.

Also, coordinating modified database structures between different sites is problematic to say the least. I am sure that if you find someone with the SAME database structure as defined in the links.def file, then it would be less of a problem. But the chances of that occurring are limited....

yes it would befinatly be difficult... to be honest all im looking to do is experiment with midifying databases be finding categories similar to mine and replacing the cat name with the most similar from my category names. if anyone was to show an interest i wouold take them on trust and send a section of my db before requesting any info.

or perhaps i am to trusting.:)
