I hate to even ask this for fear of being flamed, but I'm new to CGI and in the documentation of the script it says to be careful because the script creates directories and "other potentially hazardous stuff".
I will be using the script to maintain a directory that only I will add links to; the visitors will be able to rate the various resources. What potential problems could result from that use? Also, is there anything special I would have to do to prevent other people from having the ability to add links.
I apologize for the stupid question but, like I said, I'm very new to CGI.
