Here's the short question: Can I get Links 2.0 to work with the "echo" code I need for my space provider's banner?
I've already installed Links 2 on my server, and am trying to customize the pages by editing the templates. Thing is, I use a free web page provider, so I need to include their banner in the page or else I get a popup. I put the code (an "echo banner" call), but when I save the template (through Links) and reopen it, instead of the echo call it's all the HTML code (img src, a href, etc.), so I get a banner in the page AND a popup.
So if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

Don't use Links' template editor... duh.

I'd be otherwise insulted... if I hadn't actually tried it :-).
I had in fact edited my templates in Word, but tried opening one in the Links, resulting in what's said in the original post. So I re-uploaded my original template, and it works. So I guess now I have to make all my edits in Word.
