okk.. when it lists my links.. after about 10 links, it displays the link in text (in the format of http://www.mysite.com/links/pages/entertainment/more2.html)
instead of having a link like "next page" or " 1 2 <next>" etc

hmm.. tried the altavista mod, and download.com mod. both mods however, apparently don't work for me, (ofcourse they work.. but not for me). When I click on the build all option after making changes to the nph-build.cgi file, it says gives me that "the page cannot be displayed" error (that you get when u get a broken link).

Did you add the appropriate new tags for the category.html template? When I added this mod, I forgot to add the new tags, and replace the old 'Next' and 'Prev' tags.

Try that.

I expect the error you are getting is not a 404, but infact a 500 Internal Server Error (try opening nph-build.cgi in a new window, so you can see its title). If it is a 500 IS Error, then you have edited nph-build.cgi wrong

ya.. I did edit the category.html
and I also tried opening that nph-build.pl file in new window and it does still give me the same erro :(
