hi people. when i first tries to build a web directory i was basicaly building each and every page as an html web page. You can image that it soon began to get a bit confusing validating and aranging links ect, so i started to use links 2. since then my daily site suggestions have doubled and they all have valid email addreses and arent what i woul dcall spamm they are all geunine...is there any reason why links may have increased my suggested sites?

Most likely due to some or all of the following factors:

1) Links 2.0 has a persistent menu system to interactive options, like adding links, which may have improved access to adding resources.

2) There are known auto-submitter web sites who basically leach off of listings in the Sites in Action section in the Resources section of the GT web site.

3) Possibly search engines have now successfully added your site into their indices. Check your SERVER LOG files to assess increased traffic to your web site. Don't really on hit counters, because they do not give an accurate measure of traffic.

And there are many other reasons, too...
