jcokos DMOZ import question.
Hi,

I'm desperatly searching for the DMOZ import utility from jcokos.
I have searched these forums over and over and only found some inactive links. Frown
The best one I found was http://www.hyperseek.com/dmoz.html but this leads to an unexisting page.

If you know the right url, PLEASE help me out!

Hi Eliot,

Thanks, but I wouldn't ask this if I already had a working URL.
On the url above, there is a link to http://www.hyperseek.com/.../dmoz/nph-select.cgi and it's this one that doesn't work (but should work!).

Is it temporarly down maybe ?

John has mailed me the correct link, it's http://www.iwebsupport.com/files/rdf-hs.txt

Can somebody explain me how I must change it to just cut out TOP\Sports\Equestrian\ and subcategory's?
I tried to change "somestringhere" to "Equestrian" but then it cuts out all regional listing too.

If you can tell me how to do this, I will export category's for you if you want this!

Another question, if you add links yourself, what should you give up for email? Can you just live it blank?

Apologies for the previous dead link...

The old "nph-select.cgi" was really cool, but just got way too much traffic for my server, so I took it down. The .txt file will always be there, however.

There should be some comments near the bottom where you can uncomment them to get just certain categories.
