genral question: Links maintenance
Hi,
after using Links for long time, what files are save to delete from the server. i.e. is it save save to delete all files in cgi-bin/links/admin/backup/ ? what other files are save to remove to keep the script more efficient ?

Yes...it is...And it is okay to also delete all the old NEW files in the New folder.

What about the files in /cgi-bin/links/admin/data/hits & rates are they also save to delete? I'm moving everything to new server.. Thanks

You shouldn't delete these files because it will reset all the rating and hits your members had received.

The individual hits and rates files under the data directory are deleted when the numbers are added to the main links.db every time you build.
If you delete them, you will only lose the hits and rating submissions since your last build.
