what i want to do is to stop links engine 2.0 not to build the cool, new and top rated pages, so i can remove the pages out of the templates folder and then what do i do?

can someone please use the original script, i think you need to delete some stuff in the nph-build.cgi script,

well... can someone use the original script and then rem out or delete out the not required lines, the lines that build the cool, new and top rated pages and then please email it to me. Thanx. :-)

why not just remove the links to those pages from your menu bar? The pages with still build but no one will be able to access them since they have no link

(well, technically they could still go to http://www.yourdomain.com/pages/Cool/ but no biggie)

To stop them from Building (not accessing, Mark)...You have to rem out (#) the codes in the nph-build.cgi file. I have posted codes to do this in the past. Try searching this forum for similar Threads. If you can't find any, I will re-post the codes.

I understand the difference. That's why I said they will still build but people won't intuitivly be able to access them

Most people that don't want those, just don't want the hassel of commenting out all the lines. Plus when they upgrade to newer versions they wont have to go thru the scripts and do it again.

Since building the pages really isn't that big of a deal (what, maybe another 20 seconds at most) it is a simpler way to go about it.
