Is it possible to cron the validation procedure?

I suppose with some ingenious programming and use of LWP, you could probably automate the validation process. Logically, it seems possible.

However, why would you want to automate the validation process? This seems like a poor decision in terms of quality control. The validation process serves a great purpose, which is to ensure that you have legitimate records in your database.

If you were gonna cron the validation proc. that would be the same as changing db_valid_name to db_links name in add.cgi. Which puts it in the links.db instead of validate.db
