I've searched for previous messages on this, but I can't find anything. I have 2 ??s

Can links be put into an offline database and then added to the links database somehow ? I think I remember a discussion on this, but I don't know if it was something that could be done, or just something someone wanted to do..

Are there any shortcuts that help database entry go any faster that I'm missing??

You can use spreadsheet and database programs, such as Excel and Access. I have a programmer at our community college who works with Object Access to cleanly convert variables from our College database into the db format that Gossamer Threads works with.

Basically, if you use the same format as you have set-up in LINKS, it should work fine!
