This question should be posted in the LINKS Customization Forum. 
Anyway...it looks like you are missing some important codes:
1) Change the following codes:
my ($url, $numlinks, $mod, $subcat, $category_name, $description, $output, $i);
to the following:
my ($url, $numlinks, $mod, $subcat, $category_name, $description, $output, $i, $subcatstyle, @subcatsub, $length, $s);
2) If you are using version 2.1, make sure that you have All(1) in your main categories that you want to have subcategories listed underneath.
3) Make sure that you have $subcat_length defined in your links.cfg file.

I'd changed the code as you post and the link.cfg, but its still same thing nothing is change......why ??

Which Subcategories like Yahoo version are you using? 2.0 or 2.1?
If it is the latter, as mentioned above, you need to add All(1) to the main categories...How do you do this? MODIFY YOUR CATEGORIES via the admin.cgi script!

No...you do not need to delete your database files for this Mod to work!
Did you update your categories.db after adding the SubCatStyle field in your category.def file?

No.....Maybe that's the problem....and SIR, is that all of the main category add all(1) and blank for all sub ?

That is your problem...There is a script in the FAQ for adding links to your existing links.db that you can adapt for adding new fields in the categories.db file.
NO...you have to contact Gossamer Threads directly or purchase a license online via the Links 2.0 home page.

I cannot access the URL you gave me...I get Page Cannot Display in MIE 5.0.
And please read my recent Reply! I told you that you have to upgrade your categories.db file! Since you have NOT updated the categories.db file, it is currently corrupted and that is what is causing your categories to not display properly!
