I am in the middle of customising my links script..i have a problem with the data i enter into the forms, it seems to go into the wrong feilds, i.e my telephone number goes in the ID feild and other data goes into an irrelevant feild in the admin validation script

Can any one help?

You probably added a field and forgot to add a | to your links.db (you can use bobsies update script located in the forum somewhere to automatically add the pipe | to your database). Basically, your missing a | deliminator and the fields are off one....so add the extra | to your database, either manually or with the update script and it should fix the problem.

Note: Depending on how many fields you added, you may need to add more than one pipe (|) to your database.
