Where to host?
Straight to the point:

Where to virtually host Links 2.0 so that it won't bog the server down with 1013 links in ~170K links.db file. Please, write, what virtual hosting you believe is best.

Check out www.f2s.net, or www.freedom2surf.com. They allow perl and php i think with 20 megabytes of space and they say unlimited bandwith, also email addresses like webmaster@yourdomain.f2s.com or mailme@f2s.com. Also, no banners. One setback for me was that they use postgres instead of mysql for the php. They are free. Also allow ftp.

This has been discussed MANY times in this forum. Please conduct a more thorough search!

I use Web2010 (www.web2010.com) with no problems (other than an occassional Perl Core Dump).
