When you add a new category, what does the term Related do?

The related categories is a list of all your categories. You can select one or more of them that are somehow related to the current category. For example, let's say you have categories like these:
Computer/Software
Computer/Programming
...
Internet/Software
Internet/CGI
You are in the Computer/Software category and determine that the other three categories do relate to the current category. You just select them. You can do that by just clicking on the first, then Ctrl-click on the rest you want to include.
Then when the pages are built, your category pages will include the "related" categories where ever you want them to be included just by using $related (site_html.pl) or <%related%> in the category.html template.
