a the moment i have to much problems with the link checker function. does anyone have a idea how i can check my links created with link2 fast an comfortable.

You can use third party software programs, such as Linkbot, which will verify internal and external links. It costs $49.00 for personal use. You can find out more information at

Some of the advantages of this program are:

1) Comprehensive Reports
2) Verification of Internal and External Links.
3) Fast processing for medium size web sites.
4) Creation of current site maps.

Some of the disadvantages of this program are:

1) Extreme amount of overhead in terms of disk space. Typically reports for web sites with over 6,000 links (external and internal) takes up about 5 MGS of disk space per report.

2) Not conducive for on-line viewing of reports. Since the files are quite large, it takes a long time to download.

There are also other comprehensive programs that verify links, including WebTrends Log Analyzer Pro....

Hi,

At the risk of being the devil's advocate why should I pay money to perform a task that I have already paid for when I originally purchased this script.

I love all the work Alex has done on this script, but I am greatly disappointed that he has not managed to find the time to fix this major "breakage" in his script.

He doesn't even bother to reply to the threads requesting information about when we can expect a fix for the very substandard routine he replace the orignal great working routine with.

Granted, I am sure this will piss several people off. But hey, sometimes the truth hurts.
