Validating with no category

Validating with no category
Hello. When someone submits a link to my site. It works fine. But when I go to validate there is no category added to the validate information. How can I have the category come up at the same time as the other information. url, name, contact, etc...

If using the default version of site_html_templates.pl file, you simply need to add:

Code:

<%Category%>


within your add.html and add.error.html template files.

This is included in the DEFAULT version of the template files, which means that you have inadvertantly hacked the codes out.

Nope. You were right though. I had hacked the add.html and add.error.

I changed them back. and no luck.

does it make a diffrence if I call the add.cgi script from ssi?

Yes. Links using the document referer to autodetect the category the link will be added to. Since you are using SSI, the refering page is not a Links category page.
