Does anyone else use URL Spider Pro? I recently downloaded the beta version and am considering buying the software. I haven't had a whole lot of luck with it yet. It adds lots of sites to my todo list, but indexes only a fraction of them. I have spoken to their support and they requested I email them the spider.ini file. I have and expect to hear from them soon. I just wanted to see what some of you "experts" think of it. Will it effectively add relevant sites to my validate.db (or links.db if I choose to skip the validation) once I learn to use it right?

Some users in the past have experienced difficulties honing in correct categories in other web sites...your other options are the following:

1) Use the DMOZ Dump that is linked in this forum, but it works best with Links SQL.

2) Use the goFetch Mod, which is more flexible in terms of configuring categories in other search engines.
