Submit to X Links engines feature?
Hello,

Does anyone know of a script or mod for Links that would let me set up one of those "Submit your site to X Links engines with one click" type of sites?

Yeah, I found that one. I've been fiddling with it all night, trying to rewrite it to exclude ALL of the search engines and directories that it includes and just use MY OWN set of them (ie, pagan, gothic, dark, vampiric and paranormal) (Gossamer Trheads) Links Directories. But it won't work, and the email I found to contact them came back user unknown. SO, it's a dead end.

It's useless and pointless to me if it has any of the standard ones.

I don't want to INCLUDE the pagand/vampy/dark directories, I want to USE them instead of altavista and hotbot, etc.

Can anyone here help me out on this? Or tell me how much you'd charge? I'd scrape up the moolah on this one somehow!!!

Beggin' u...

the url I have it at is http://www.sanguinarius.org/cgi-bin/urlsubmitter/urlsubmitter30.cgi

It only gets as far as the confirmation page and then doesn't include the stuff that is on se1.cgi -- I can email someone a copy of the files as I have them so far...

I have a site submitter on my site. It submits your site to about 16 top search engines for free. http://www.gnuspy.com/submit.html

The script at the Hypermart site Ian pointed to doesn't seem to be working too well. At least it wasn't a few months ago.

I know the site-submitter offered by http://www.verysimple.com/ can do the job, since a German auto-submission site was using it to submit to my Links-site :-( Totally unrelated submissions, wrong categories coming in, etc. I have now blocked auto-submissions.

Thanks. I think I got it figured out, -- finally! A guy tested it out and it seemed to work ok.
