This is my second install of Links 2.0. The first one was smooth, though I did have to turn off [f]lock and insert the chmod 666 line into nph-build.cgi to get it working right.
So...I was prepared for the second install. I turned off [f]lock and did the 666 stuff so the permissions would be right on the resulting pages. Everything was fine for the first few days. Then it went weird.
Every time I create a new category, the permissions are written as rw-r--r--. I can manually chmod them...but isn't there another fix somewhere in the FAQs that I've missed?
