Strange meta-tag

Strange meta-tag
Hi!

Can somebody help me: sometimes I find in my html-templates the tag: "<meta http-equiv="expires" content="0">". I have never written that in it, and I delete it regularly. But it appears again! And not only on the templates of my server, but also on my harddisc at home. What is it?

Let me guess...you are using a WYSIWYG editor (like Adobe Pagemill, Microsoft Front Page, or Macromedia DreamWeaver), right? If so, you should be aware that many WYSIWYG editors insert miscellaneous META tags in the header section of pages. How to solve this problem? Read your WYSIWYG editor help menus.

No, sorry. I used to, but now I edit the Links V2.0 templates with a text editor. I now know what this meta-tag means: it comes with the no-cache tag, that proxy servers do not cache the link sites. The no-cache-tag I wrote in some templates (new links...), but not the expire-tag. I don't really know how this tag comes in the templates, again and again. But I'll try searching.

Thank you for your fast response!!
