I would like any comments on the security of links...

I want to make sure that i will not face some problems with hackers! I know that any program cannot be 100% safe, but how is the security with this script ?

I have added the recip checker and the mod for modifying url's...

P.S. I have protected my admin area with .htaccess...

Even with .htaccess, people that have accounts in the same server as you can FTP into your account and download readable files. (And this is NOT unique to LINKS.)

So, like you said...no script or program is 100% secure.



One thing you need to be concerned about is auto-submission services that can easily corrupt your database. But there are Mods to defend against this...which has been discussed MANY times and there are Mods in the Resource Center.
