We have a website we are working on for a client that needs to be searchable for different fields. Like zip code, city or name. I'm not sure wether to use DBman or Links. It needs to be able to e-mail the administrator that there is a record waiting to be added or modified. But the user also needs to be able to search a paticular field in the database. Any suggestions?

Sounds more like a DBMAN project to me...It is a database, right? Then DBMAN is the better program. LINKS is more for creating and maintaining mini-portals and directories.

The features you are requesting can be done with either LINKS or DBMAN, but in terms of a database lookup system, DBMAN would be a better choice IMHO.
