I know there is a mod that checks for reciprocal link. I haven't tried it yet. I would like to use it with the following modifications:

Checks links on a daily basis. And if reciprocal link is gone, it e-mail the person and says we will remove them if they don't get it back up within 7 days. After 7 days and still no reciprocal link I would like for the program to remove the and then notified via e-mail.

Can anyone help me out with this?

Execute the script via Cron or AT Scheduler (if you are on a NT Server).

If you're going to build a directory on the basis of link owners under a obligation to link back to your web site. Might as well take up golf and not bother with using links.
Nobody should be obligated to link back to a directory, you're wasting your time.
