save link to disk
The problem I just encountered was when you click on a link, it asks if you want to save it to disk. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

How about giving us a link to your directory? So, that we can see what you are talking about.

The problem is that you have not changed the permission of your /data/hits/ directory to 777 (rwxrwxrwx).

This is the error I get in IE:

Error: Can't increment counter file. Reason: Permission denied

I check the permissions and they are set to 777. This problem just started, it was working fine before. Do you know of anything else that could do this?

I don't know...what recent changes have you made to your scripts?

Also...make sure that the /data/ directory is changed to 777 (rwxrwxrwx).

I found the problem located in my links.cfg. I copied the original links.cfg over and it fixed the problem, now i will go in and compare the 2 and see what I did wrong.

Make sure that you have the correct directories for the hits in the bottom of the links.cfg file.
