Does anyone know the max # of links that can be in the db and still have quick search returns?

Theoretically, the maximum size of the .db should be 1 MG or less in order to maintain its integrity and speed. This can encompass up to 4,000 records. It also depends on any extra variables that you add to records. For instance, I know that my database will only be able to hold about 2,000 records because I have added review variables that will take up a lot of disk space over time.

(I will need to upgrade to the SQL version when it becomes available to accomodate the extra overhead and processing.)

Im running 5,550 links. Check out the search engine. It returns results in 4 - 5 seconds.
