After running Links for 5 years, I have run into a problem that has me baffled.
I do my build via crontab every morning. Yesterday I received the following error:
CGI ERROR
==========================================
Error Message : unable to open what's new page: /hsphere/local/home/willdeb/fishhoo.com/New/index.html. Reason: Permission denied
Script Location : /hsphere/local/home/willdeb/fishhoo.com/cgi-bin/links/admin/nph-build.cgi
Perl Version : 5.006001
Yet, the build works properly when I run nph-build.cgi via a direct ssh session.
After searching this board yesterday, I set the permissions of the New directory to 777 and the index.html to 666. They did not change overnight and I am still getting the permissions error.
The only changes I have made recently is editing the home.html and category.html templates.
Any ideas out there? Thanks!
