I'd like to be able to use an extensive list of links we currently have on our site in Links. Plus, I'd also like to use portions of DMOZ.org too. Is that possible? If so, what's the easiest way?

How many links are you talking about? Don't expect to be able to have more than a few thousand before you start to see huge slowdowns and data loss.

I'd like to hit 1000 links within a couple months. Could be more than that down the road, but this directory will be pretty tightly focused so I doubt it. Later I can always upgrade to sql right?

So, any ideas on my original question?

I downloaded the trial version. never did much with it but you may like it. At $35 you can't go too far wrong.

in looking at previous post, 1,000 links should be OK but it also depends on the size of the links.db file.

ok, those programs look pretty good. seems to get the data, but how exactly do I get the data into Links?

well, I didn't spend much time with it. I think they have a trial version. Try it and see how it works.
