detailed page and link's order

detailed page and link's order
have 2 questions

1) How to publish details in detailed page and the visitor can click the link to visit the detailed page.
2) How to fix the link's order. I like the links to show up in a time order with the newest ranking on top.

Regarding the link in item 2, the first thing mentioned in the first post is a change in links.def:

# Field number to sort links by:
$db_sort_links = 1;
