I have been testing the rating feature (2.0). From what I see so far, one can rate the site once a day. However, looks to me like if you close the browser and log on again you can vote, right?.

Are there any other provisions to control repetetive voting, IP banning, or say controlling a site that has all ratings of 10.

Is anyone completely familiar with this system for 2.0, comments please.......

I believe the length of time between votes for the same IP number is 6 hours. Closing a browser and restarting it does not change the IP number, so they would not be able to vote again until the 6 hours is up.

Now, if they log off from their ISP and log back on and get a new IP number, that is a different story. They would be able to vote again right away in that case.

When you 'rebuild' your pages it also resets the ability to rate a site regardless of the above mentioned 6 hour time limit.
