Hi,
I recently installed Links 2.0 at www.amiga.org using the webcrawler templates and I'm having two problems that I need help ASAP solving. I tried looking through the forums here, and on the FAQ but didn't see the answer anywhere.
{edit starts here}
...Until I looked around a little harder on the forums and found the answer to both questions. ;-)
1) Modify.html giving "Unkown error: Current URL" error
solution:
My problem. When I modified the modify.html template originally, I used "copy/paste" rather than "cut/paste" in Dreamweaver. As a result, when I pasted the second copy, it appended "2" to all the fields in the form. Bad form.
2) Build date being used as "added" date -
solution: Perhaps whomever wrote the Webcrawler templates might want to fix the problem (remove "Date => &get_date" and "Time => &get_time" from %globals) internally to site_html_templates.pl to stop it from happening again?
I appreciate the effort in the webcrawler templates, but there's no need for this to be a continued FAQ when it can be solved easily.
