Can someone help me out please?

I have been adding new links to the database. When I return to the site the number of links has not increased, the links arenot shown under their catefories and they are also not showing under "NEW". However when I search for a specif one it shows up. This problem has only occurred since the Y2K rollover as I have never experienced it before.

Have you re-built your index?????? The reason that they are showing up via the search engine is that since you have specified the "link" field in your @search_fields, it is searching and finding those links in your database file.

But I think you may have forgotten to re-build your index and that is why the links are not showing up in their respective categories and new pages.

Thanks for your reply but when I added the links I also did a "Build all" and they didn't show up. That is waht is confusing me about it. Any more ideas?

Hello. I took your idea a step further and thought that though I had built the pages it had not worked. So I carreid out a "staggered build" and now it is working fine. Thanks for your help.

I can to modify a register in a "Modify a site", try to modify de url "http://www.limbo.com" and enter new information, title, url, etc.., you will see it go all right. But if you try to add a site from the web the server return the same page and not another register is enter. Even not advice the field not inserted on obligatory boxes.

This is very strange because you can to add a register at the admin.cgi ?¿?¿?

I put full absolute path on field but nothing.
