Received the "error validating links. It couldn't find record in validation database." after I've run the link 2.0 for couple months. Actually, the record should be validated and it just comes up again and again.
What changes have you made to the scripts?
What Mods have you installed?

And do you have the Mailer.pm file uploaded in your $db_lib_path directory specified in the links.cfg file?
And do you have the admin log configurations set properly?
And how did you set-up your sendmail configurations?

I am also having that problem. I have added the following mods:
ReviewIt
New/Updated Mod
Hold Links
I don't remember changing any paths and I changed the permissions on the validate.db file to -rw-rw-rw-. Any suggestions

I went back and followed each one of the suggestions that you posted earlier. The thing is that it was working before I used the hold links mod at http://lookhard.hypermart.net/links-mods/. I checked that mailer.pm is in the right directory.
The admin log is set to not be on
As far as sendmail configurations it is set to /usr/sbin/sendmail.
Hopefully this will give you a little more clarity. Thanks

Well, I would double check the Hold Mod, since that must be causing problems for you. Double check the codes and make sure that you did not inadvertantly delete codes that need to be there.

what date did you install my mod? because i updated it with code that seemed to work better for someone about 1 month ago. Before then i installed personally so it may be that the code i put on the page was wrong, anyway, go to the second page of install instructions and do all that stuff over again, because theres new stuff(code i left out), and reinstall. Except for where it says now to admin_html.pl
