Problem Rebuilding Database

Problem Rebuilding Database
I just removed about 40 dead links and then when I tied to rebuild I got the following error.

CGI ERROR
==========================================
Error Message : Error building! Links database is 0 bytes!
Script Location : nph-build.cgi
Perl Version : 5.008004

What do I do now?

Replace the links.db file with the newest copy from the backup directory.
