Hi! i'm looking for help. I got link 2 installed on my server. Yesterday, I tried to added 700 links data. But then, it the Build All doesn't finish the building. It did the job only half way it stopped. Please let me know if there are any solution for this. I'm very sure that my links.db is in a correct format. Thank you.

What you should do is incrementally add links like 100 at a time.

Two suggestions:

1) Ask your hosting company to increase your CPU rate above 60 seconds, so that there is a lower risk of the script timing out via your web browser.

2) Use telnet to build your directory...You don't know how to do this?? Search the forums...I have posted instructions on how to use telnet to execute perl scripts about six times in the past two weeks in multiple forums in this site.

I know this problem from SCHLUND & PARTNER, Germany; they have a restricted time for every cgi. So my Links 2.0 cant do more than 2xxx Links, while setting to 12 secs. Now with 30 Secs i could build with over 5000 Links.
