Permission Denied on nph-build.cgi
I was able to install Links on a Unix machine and set up one category and a few links. When I attempt to build the page, I get the following message:

Building Pages

Pages built on 20-Apr-2000 at 15:35:05
--------------------------------------------------------

Backing up database . . .
Backing up links, category and email database (File::Copy) ...

CGI ERROR
==========================================
Error Message : Unable to copy links backup. Reason: Permission denied
Script Location : /usr/local/apache/cgi-bin/links/admin/nph-build.cgi
Perl Version : 5.004

All the cgi scripts in the /cgi-bin/links/admin directory have permissions 755. My server log shows no error, so I am wondering what happened.

1) This type of question should be posted in the UNIX Installation Forum.

2) You need to upload a blank file called links.db.bak to your data directory where your links.db file is located. Then change the permission of this file to 666 (rw-rw-rw-). Then re-build your index via the Build All option in the nph-build.cgi
