Password Protection Problem

I had my host "Password" protect the Admin folder, but now everytime I try push in my username and password, I get a "The directory name is invalid." Error, therefore preventing me from accessing my admin.cgi file, what should i do now?

If I were you, I would be all over your ISP like ugly on a wart hog until it works right. There is nothing wrong with Links, because Links doesn't return that error, your system does.

There might be a problem in the .htaccess file. If your ISP just set the directory up, you need to edit the lines of the file to point to the proper authentication files.

There are several examples on-line here, to show you how it should work.
